From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin we extend Our Pontifical blessings on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, congratulating all the teachers, students and schoolchildren of educational institutions.
On this special day, the doors of educational institutions open again to welcome our studious children.
The knowledge and understanding accumulated in educational centers are the key to the formation of the identity of our children and the progress and development of our country, and the lasting spiritual and moral values transferred with education are patriotism and loyalty towards our sanctities.
Indeed, as the scriptural word testifies. "When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul, then good thoughts will warn you, and righteous thoughts will protect you" (Proverbs 2:10).
Dear pedagogues, may the Lord make your dedicated efforts abundantly fruitful to educate and raise our studious and gifted children with native traditions and spiritual-national values, for the sake of strengthening the motherland and the progressive life of our people.
Dear pupils and students, It is our prayer that the Almighty God will grant you a bright mind and that you will devote yourself more diligently to accumulating new knowledge in the new academic year.
May the grace, love and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
