REMARKS OF HIS HOLINESS KAREKIN II SUPREME PATRIARCH AND CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS

We are concerned about the events that took place in Stepanakert over these last days, which caused unrest, endangering the internal stability of the Republic of Artsakh. The escalation of the internal political situation in the country and uncompromising stances are unacceptable, as they can make the security and peace of Artsakh vulnerable.

 We urge our beloved people of Artsakh to solve all the disagreements and problems in the spirit of solidarity and through dialogue, for the sake of Artsakh's stability and progress. According to the words of the Apostle Paul: “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves”.

 We offer our prayers to Almighty God, asking to preserve the Republic of Artsakh and keep her in peace, and grant His abundant blessings to the life of the Armenians of Artsakh. Amen.
