Dear pious people,

More than three decades ago, our children of Artsakh declared their independence with persistent struggle and collective will. With the vision of creating a free, independent and dignified life on their historical land, the brave Artsakh citizens, with the support of all Armenians and their hard work, built the homeland and strengthened the foundations of the newly independent Republic of Artsakh with significant achievements.

Today, we welcome the Independence Day of Artsakh with a heavy heart and deep concerns. Artsakh is once again facing ontological threats. Azerbaijan, having made Armenian hatred a state policy, continues to openly implement its criminal intentions to depopulate and occupy Artsakh, with new manifestations of genocidal actions. Azerbaijan has turned the Berdzor Corridor, illegally blocked for more than nine months, into a tool for the realization of its criminal goals, consistently intensifying repression and intimidation against our children.

In this seemingly insurmountable difficult situation, there is no other way than nationwide consolidation and unification of efforts for the sake of protecting the right of self-determination of our people of Artsakh, for the sake of the free and safe life of Artsakh Armenians. With the slogan "Everything for the sake of Artsakh" we must face and overcome the trials that plagued us, because, according to the words of the apostle, "tribulations bring patience, patience brings experience, experience brings hope." Hope never puts you to shame" (Romans 5:3-5).

With this faith, on the occasion of Artsakh Republic Day, from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, we convey our blessings and good wishes to the brave people of Artsakh, statesmen and the spiritual servants of the Diocese of Artsakh, wishing strength of faith and hope, endurance and courage in the struggle for the salvation of Artsakh.
May the Lord's love, blessing and peace protect our benevolent people and the whole world.
