The Feast of the Annunciation of the Holy Virgin Mary is established as the Day of Motherhood, Beauty and Love in the state calendar. On this day, in our churches, We offer a Blessing Service for the women waiting for the joy of motherhood, with a wish, that God give them gifted children, and keep their families in full love and solidarity. On this joyful occasion of the Annunciation of the Holy Virgin Mary, We bring our Pontifical blessings to all, in particular, the women waiting for the joy of motherhood. Today, the Good News of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary is heard with an angel voice in all our Holy Churches: “Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you”. The joyful tidings of the Nativity of the Savior, which was first heard by the Blessed Virgin Mary, renewed and filled the lives of our people with Blessings. Our Christian people have been inspired and strengthened with this good news throughout the centuries, and our mothers and sisters, following the example of the Holy Virgin, dedicated their lives, living with faith, love and loyalty towards the Fatherland. In these difficult days for our people, We ask for the comfort of the Holy Spirit and the support of the Almighty God to all the children of our nation, in particular, to the mothers, sisters and daughters suffering from the losses and disasters of the new War of Artsakh. We pray, that through the merciful intercession of the Holy Mother of God, may the Savior grant peace and prosperity to the whole world, our country and the faithful. May the constant protection and graces of the Lord protect the women who are waiting for the joy of motherhood, so that they nurture and educate their children in the God loving spirit and patriotism; may God grant happiness and prosperity to all women, mothers and sisters, now and always; Amen.
