Was born in 1981, in Yerevan. Baptismal name is Aram.

From 1987 to 1997 -N 65 Secondary Schhol in Yerevan.

From 1997 to 2002 - Vaskenian Seminary in Sevan.

From 2002 to 2003 - Gevorkian Theological Seminary, Bachelor of Theology.

From 2004 to 2007 - University of Strasbourg (France), (Master of Theology and Religious Studies).

In 2005 - Dublin (Ireland) International Study Center.

 

 

  • Ecclesiastical titles and ordination

 

In 2001 - Ordained to the diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Mikael Ajapahian.

In 2003 - Ordained as a celibate priest by His Eminence Archbishop Shahan Svajian.

In 2011 - Rank of Archimandrite by His Eminence Archbishop ANoushavan Jamkochian thesis:  "Being God": the three-step path of human deification according to the doctrine of Saint Nerses the Graceful".

In 2023 - Consecrated as a Bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

 

  • Tenure

 

From 2003 to 2004 - Staff bearer of the Catholicos of All Armenians.

From 2007 to 2011 - Vice Chancellor of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and Lecturer of the Gevorkian Theological Semianry (Christian ethics).

From 2007 to 2014 - Member of the "Church and Society" Committee of the Conference of European Churches.

From 2008 to 2009 - Spirtual Pastor of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Brussels (Belgium). 

From 2009 to 2010 - Spiritual Pastor of the Holy Virgin Church in Nice (France).

From 2010 to 2012 - Locum Tenens of Armenian Diocese of Switzerland and Spiritual pastor of Saint Jacob Church in Geneva.

In 2013 - Vicar General of Marseilles and Southern France.

From 2013 to 2014 - Locum Tenens of the Armenian Diocese of France.

From 2015 to 2017 - Spiritual Pastor of the St. Shoghakat Church (Eastern Diocese of the Armenian church in North America).

From 2017 to 2018 - Director of the Preaching and Education Center of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian church in North America.

From 2018 to 2020 - Grand Sacristan of the St. Vardan Church (Eastern Diocese of the Armenian church in North America).

From 2010 to 2021 - Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Center.

Since 2021 - Director of the Preaching and Education Center of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian church in North America.

Since 2022 - Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America

Since 2023 - Member of the Supreme Spirituall Council.
