From 1980 to 1985 - Binghamton (New York) State University.
From 1985 to 1989 - St. Nersess Armenian Seminary in New York.
From 1986 to 1990 - City University of New York (Master of Musicology).
From 1992 to 1997 - Doctorate degree in liturgy from the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome․
- Ecclesiastical titles and ordination
In 1990 - Ordained to the diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Torkom Manookian.
In 1997 - Ordained as a celibate priest by His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Barsamian.
In 2003 - Rank of Archimandrite by His Eminence Archbishop Yeznik Petrosyan. Thesis: "The Ancient Ceremony of the Church Holidays.”
In 2019 - Consecrated as Bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
