Was born in 1978, in the village of Tatev. Baptismal name is Nelson.
From 1984 to 1994 - Tatev Secondary School after S. Arakelyan.
From 1994 to 2000 - Gevorkian Theological Seminary of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
In 2001 - Bossey Ecumenical Institute of the World Council of Churches, attached to the Theological Faculty of the University of Geneva.
From 2002 to 2004 - Spiritual Academy of the Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow. Candidate of Theological Sciences.
From 2006 to 2007 - Salesian Pontifical University in Rome.
- Ecclesiastical titles and ordination
In 2000 - Ordained to the diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Navasard Ktchoyan.
In 2002 - Ordained as a celibate priest by His Eminence Archbishop Navasard Ktchoyan.
In 2011 - Rank of Archimandrite by His Eminence Archbishop Paren Avedikian. Thesis: "The Religious and Moral Views of St. Gregory of Narek according to the “Book of Lamentations”.
In 2011 - consecrated as a Bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
