Was born in 1975, in Etchmiadzin. Baptismal name is Haik.

From 1981 to 1992 - Secondary School № 4 after Khachatur Abovyan in Etchmiadzin.

From 1985 to 1990 - Tadevosian School of Art in Etchmiadzin.

From 1991 to 1993 -  Chairman of the Armenian Church Youth Organization in Etchmiadzin.

From 1993 to 1998 - Vaskenian Theological Academy at Lake Sevan.

From 1998 to 1999 - Gevorkian Theological Seminary.

From 2001 to 2003 - University of Leeds (United Kingdom), bachelor.

From 2003 to 2004 - University of Cardiff in the United Kingdom, Master of Theology.

From 2007 to 2008 - School of Political Studies of Yerevan.

 

  • Ecclesiastical titles and ordination

 

In 1999 - Ordained to the Diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Voskan Galpakyan.

In 2001 - Ordained as a Celibate Priest by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.

In 2006 - Rank of Archimandrite by His Grace Bishop Yeznik Petrosyan. Thesis: "Classical Redemption and Feminist Theology".

In 2010 - Consecrated as a Bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.

 

  • Tenure

 

From 1999 to 2001 -  Head of the Office of the Training of Teachers of Religion in the Christian Education Center.

From 2001 to 2003 - Visiting spiritual Pastor of the Armenian Community of Manchester.

From 2004 to 2005 - Acting Dean of the Vaskenian Theological Academy at Lake Sevan.

From 2005 to 2008 - Dean of the Vaskenian Theological Academy at Lake Sevan

From 2004 to 2008 - Lecturer in the Vaskenian Academy and the Gevorkian Seminary ( "Doctrine Theology" ).

In 2008 - Parish Priest of the St. Sahak and St. Mesrop Armenian Church of Philadelphia of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America.

In 2009 - Vice Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary

From 2009 to 2010 - Locum Tenens of the Diocese of Aragatsotn.

Since 2010 - Primate of the Diocese of Aragatsotn.
