Was born in 1973, in Aleppo, Syria. Baptismal name is Hakob.
From 1980 to 1987 - Cilician Seminary in Aleppo.
From 1987 to 1993 - Gevorkian Theological Seminary of the Holy Etchmiadzin.
From 1995 to 2000 - University of Erlangen-Nierenberg, Germany.
In 2000 - Catholic Theological University of Tubingen.
- Ecclesiastical titles and ordination
In 1991 - Ordained to the Diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Nerses Pozapalian.
In 1998 - Ordained as a Celibate Priest - His Eminence Archbishop Karekin Bekchian.
In 2003 - Rank of Archimandrite by His Eminence Archbishop Nerses Pozapalian. Thesis: “The Divine Liturgy of the Armenian Church from the 5th century to the present day”.
In 2006 - Consecrated as a Bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.

From 1993 to 2004 - Pastoral service in the Armenian Diocese of Germany.
From 1998 to 2004 - Spiritual pastor of the Armenian communities of Southern Germany (Göpingen, Stuttgart, Kehl, Nuremberg, Munich).
Since 2004 - Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Damascus.
