Was born on January, 1954, in Tigranakert. Baptismal name is Artin (Haroutiun).
From 1961 to 1966 - Local school in Tigranakert.
From 1966 to 1967 - Holy Cross School of Constantinople.
From 1967 to 1976 - Jarankavoratz Theological Seminary at the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

In 1973 - Ordained to the Diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Hayrik Aslanian.
In 1976 - Ordained as a Celibate priest by His Eminence Archbishop Shenork Kaloustian.
In 1987 - Rank of Archimandrite by His Eminence Archbishop Shenork Kaloustian.
In 1999 - Rank of Senior Archimandrite by His Eminence Archbishop Mesrob Mutafyan.
In 1999 - Consecrated as a Bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
In 2006 - Rank of Archbishop by the Encyclical of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
